Kentucky Horsewear All Weather Waterproof Comfort 1200D 100g is a black waterproof turnout rug with light filling, designed to protect the horse in rain and changeable weather conditions. The rug has 100 g filling and a durable 1200D ripstop polyester outer fabric with a breathable, waterproof coating. The anatomical construction helps the rug stay securely in place and follow the horse’s body. It has no back seam or seams across the back, helping to reduce the risk of water penetrating during heavy rain.
At the front, the rug closes with Kentucky’s Comfort Buckle fastening, while three cross surcingles underneath the belly help distribute pressure and provide a comfortable fit. The inside is lined with smooth, antibacterial 210T polyester. At the rear, an extended tail flap provides additional coverage, with an elastic detail that keeps the tail closer to the rug for increased protection, as well as reflective details for improved visibility.
The rug also features a removable elastic tail cord with a plastic cover, making it easy to clean while helping to keep the rug securely in place. The rug is machine washable at 30 °C. The manufacturer recommends renewing the waterproof treatment after more than five washes to maintain its water-repellent properties. Do not tumble dry.
