The Kentucky Turnout Rug All Weather Waterproof Pro 160g is a robust and reliable solution for protecting your horse from cold and rainy weather. With an outer layer made of 1680D polyester in a canvas look, this rug is both strong and dirt-repellent. It is also waterproof thanks to the PU coating that guarantees your horse stays dry, with a waterproof rating of ISO 10,000mm. The 160g filling is made from PES fiber, providing warmth and breathability, allowing air to circulate through multiple layers.
This turnout rug is anatomically shaped and features no seam in the back to prevent leakage. The artificial rabbit skin lining prevents rubbing marks and acts as an extra insulating layer. The rug has a practical hook and loop closure with two front closures and two cross surcingles made from seatbelt material. For additional coverage, a separate neckpiece can be purchased. It is also easy to care for, as it can be machine washed at 30 degrees. After more than five washes, a fluorocarbon treatment is recommended to ensure the waterproofness of the rug.
