The Baucher bit remains very steady in the horse's mouth as the cheekpiece attaches to the upper loop and the rein to the bit below. Provides a more stable feel than a regular snaffle bit, which many horses are very comfortable with, also offers a mild leverage effect.
The shanks are 8.5 cm long, measured from the mouthpiece to the very highest point of the small ring.
