As they can easily be put on and removed, they are a practical choice for barefoot horses that need additional protection when ridden on harder surfaces or have sensitive soles. They can also be used for horses with laminitis or other hoof-related issues, as well as a temporary solution if a horse loses a shoe.
Cavallo CLB, short for Cute Little Boot, is specially designed for small hooves and is therefore ideal for smaller ponies and miniature horses. This version comes in purple, with a glossy, shimmering finish that catches the light beautifully. The upper is made from durable nylon, while the moulded TPU sole provides protection, grip and durability. A softly padded collar helps ensure a comfortable fit around the hoof.
This model features a Regular Sole, designed for wider, rounder hooves where the hoof width and length are approximately equal. Its lightweight and flexible construction makes the boots comfortable and practical for light training and riding.
The boots slip easily over the hoof and fasten with practical, replaceable hook-and-loop closures. For optimum performance, they should fit snugly and follow the shape of the hoof without excessive movement. They can be used on both front and hind hooves and are sold as a pair.
