Kentucky Horsewear Medical & Ice are black, multifunctional hoof boots that can be used for hoof care, bandaging and cooling. They are practical to keep both at the stable and at competitions and can be used to protect the hoof, keep it clean or as part of cooling treatment after exercise.
The boots feature a waterproof outer material, allowing them to be used with ice, water or wet hoof bandages. The sole is heavily reinforced for good durability, making the model suitable for repeated use. When needed, the boots can also be used to help keep the hoof dry and protected.
The higher design allows Medical & Ice to be used for cooling the lower part of the horse’s leg, including the hoof, fetlock and pastern. The fit is adjusted with a strong Velcro strap around the leg, helping to keep the boots securely in place. The hoof boots are sold in pairs and are available in two sizes with different heights: M is 15 cm high and L is 20 cm high.
