The stylish and functional design of the popular hind leg protection, Young Jump Vento from Veredus, is widely used by riders at all levels, for both large horses and ponies. Young Jump is, as the name suggests, designed for young horses and is approved for competition use. However, they are equally commonly used on "full-grown" horses as they fit well on the cannon bone without significantly affecting the horse's range of motion.
The inside is made of neoprene, a material that is comfortable against the horse's skin and easy to clean. The protection is waterproof and does not absorb any moisture, which becomes especially noticeable on rainy days when inferior protection tends to become heavy and uncomfortable. The ventilation in Veredus Young Jump Vento relies on air being transported through channels in the neoprene and then pushed out through the ventilation holes.
