  • Gel pad made of contoured gel that is slightly thicker than a traditional gel pad, providing better shock absorption and excellent wither protection. The pad is perforated to allow moisture to pass through and breathe effectively. It is cut in a way that fits perfectly under most saddles. The central part of the pad is thinner than the sides, which adapts better to the withers and back, offering greater freedom of movement for the horse.

    Acavallo® Classic Gel is hypoallergenic, toxin-free, and gentle on the skin. Additionally, it is combined with Acavallo's sheepskin, a natural material that is hypoallergenic, soft, and can prevent chafing, rubbing, and sores. The wool in Acavallo's products has a high density (thick and dense), making it well-suited for providing shock absorption and a soft contact surface for the horse. It also acts as an insulator, preventing static electricity from building up if it were to rub against the coat, something many horses find uncomfortable. It can be machine-washed at 30 degrees but should not be tumble-dried and should be air-dried, away from direct sunlight.
