This black, high-gloss version of Cromo 2.0, with a polished, glossy finish and a wide peak, has, like all KEP helmets, both an extremely low weight and fantastic ventilation. It is also designed with KEP's smart chin strap, made of genuine leather, with a five-point fastening that prevents the helmet from sliding forward and ending up in the wrong position, which in turn contributes to optimal protection across your entire head - from the crown down to the neck.
KEP's safety thinking is far ahead of its time and the helmet is of course approved according to both the VG1 safety standard and the EN1384 safety standard, all so that you can feel comfortable and safe in every situation.
Unique to Cromo 2.0 is that the peak and panels can easily be removed and replaced. In other words, you get access to unlimited personalisation of your helmet and can adapt its design to both your mood and the occasion. The helmet is also equipped with an integrated microchip that can make your care more efficient if an accident should occur, by providing those around you with information about allergies, blood type, emergency contacts, etc.
PLEASE NOTE - the liner is purchased separately, see Liner/Innerpad KEP Cromo 2.0 and Liner/Innerpad Long KEP Cromo 2.0. The liner can also easily be removed for washing when needed.

Liner, size & fit
The helmet comes in two base sizes, M and L. You then also need to purchase a liner, which is sold separately.
KEP Cromo 2.0 has two different liner models, allowing you to choose either a round or oval shape. Both versions come in sizes 51-62, so once you have determined your helmet size, simply choose the model that suits your head shape. If you are unsure which shape you have, we recommend the round one, as it is the most common. See the size guide to find out how to take your measurements. The inner pad is removable and can be washed as needed.
M - fits sizes 51-58
L - fits sizes 59-62
The two different inner pad models available are:
Round - Liner/Innerpad KEP Cromo 2.0
Long/Oval - Liner/Innerpad Long KEP Cromo 2.0
One tip is to buy two sets of liners, for example if you want to be able to wash the inner pad more often during the summer. Another reason you may need an extra inner pad is if you want to switch between wearing your hair up and down, or wear a hat under the helmet in colder temperatures. You can then buy a larger liner that provides room for this, and later switch back to the original liner size in warmer conditions.
The same principle applies if you have a growing child; it may then be enough to buy a new, larger liner as the child grows, instead of having to buy a completely new helmet.
The inner pad can be machine washed at 30°C.
Personalisation with replaceable peak & panels
The Cromo 2.0 helmet is designed with an innovative mechanical locking system that allows you to customise your helmet - even after purchase. You can give your helmet a completely new look by easily changing either the peak, the front or the back, or why not all three?
KEP Italia has a wide range of both peaks and panels in different versions for you to choose from; these are purchased separately.
Microchip
Cromo 2.0 comes equipped with an integrated microchip, located beneath the front panel. The microchip connects to the KEP app, where, in addition to saving warranty information, etc., you can also enter your health details, such as allergies, blood type and emergency contacts, which can facilitate and make healthcare more efficient if an accident should occur. By holding a phone against the tip of the helmet, anyone can access your information and help you better in an emergency, without needing to have the KEP app installed on their phone.
Ventilation
The helmet is extremely well ventilated with its KEP Air Control System, which you can easily adjust by moving the "button" in the front grille up or down, thereby closing and opening the vents. Cromo 2.0 is also fitted with two additional ventilation slots at the rear to ensure optimal breathability.
