This navy blue, high-gloss version of the Cromo 2.0, with a polished, shiny finish and a wide sun visor, offers—just like all KEP helmets—exceptionally low weight combined with fantastic ventilation. It is furthermore developed with KEP’s clever chin strap made from genuine leather with a five-point harness that prevents the helmet from sliding forward or ending up in the wrong position, thereby contributing to optimal protection over your whole head – from the crown down to the neck.
KEP’s safety thinking is ahead of its time, and the helmet is of course approved under both the VG1 and EN1384 safety standards, all so you can feel comfortable and secure in every situation.
Unique to the Cromo 2.0 is that the visor and panels can easily be removed and swapped out. In other words you get access to unlimited personalisation of your helmet and can adapt its design to both mood and occasion. The helmet is also equipped with an integrated microchip which can streamline your care in the event of an accident, by providing information about allergies, blood group, emergency contacts etc.
NOTE - the inner liner is purchased separately, see Liner/Innerpad KEP Cromo 2.0 and Liner/Innerpad Long KEP Cromo 2.0. The liner can also be easily removed for washing when needed.

Inner liner, size & fit
The helmet comes in two basic shell sizes, M and L. You will then also need to buy a liner, which is sold separately.
KEP Cromo 2.0 has two different liner models, where you can choose either round or oval shape. Both variants come in sizes 51-62, so once you have determined your helmet size you simply pick the model that suits your head shape. If you are unsure what you have we recommend the round one, since that is the most common. See the size guide to find out how to take your measurements. The inner pad is removable and can be washed when needed.
M – fits size 51-58
L – fits size 59-62
The two different liner models available are:
Round – Liner/Innerpad KEP Cromo 2.0
Long/Oval – Liner/Innerpad Long KEP Cromo 2.0
A tip: Buy double sets of inner liners if you, for example, want to wash the inner pad more often during the summer period. Another example of why you might need an extra inner pad is if you want to switch between hair tied up or down, or wear a cap under the helmet in colder temperatures. Then you can buy a larger liner that offers space for that, then later switch back to the original liner size in warmer conditions.
The same principle applies if you have a child who is growing, then it may suffice to buy a new, larger liner in pace with the child’s growth, instead of needing to buy a completely new helmet.
Personalisation with interchangeable visor & panels
The Cromo 2.0 is designed with an innovative mechanical locking system which allows you to customise your helmet – even after purchase. You can give your helmet a completely new look by simply changing either the visor, front or rear panel, or why not all three?
KEP Italia has a wide range of both visors and panels in various variants that you can choose from; these are sold separately.
Microchip
The Cromo 2.0 is equipped with an integrated microchip placed under the front panel. The microchip is linked to the KEP app where you, apart from storing details about warranty etc., can also fill in your health details, such as allergies, blood group and emergency contacts, which can assist and streamline medical care in case of accident. By holding a phone against the tip of the helmet someone, without having the KEP app installed on their phone, can retrieve your information and better assist you if you are in need.
Ventilation
The helmet is extremely well ventilated with its KEP Air Control System, which you can easily adjust by moving the “slider” in the grid at the front up or down and thus close or open the vents. The Cromo 2.0 is also provided with two further ventilation slots on the back to ensure optimal breathing capability.
