KEP Cromo Smart Polo Matt is an affordable riding helmet for those who want high comfort, sleek design, and proven safety – without breaking the budget. The helmet is 100% made in Italy and suitable for all equestrian disciplines.
With its lightweight yet durable ABS outer shell, the helmet combines low weight with high durability. Ventilation is handled by the advanced KEP Air Control System, which maintains an even temperature through efficient air circulation via polystyrene channels. The helmet is designed with a visor and a matte finish, as well as a front grille with a built-in steel mesh.
The five-point chinstrap in hypoallergenic and eco-friendly beige leather sits comfortably against the skin and minimizes the risk of chafing.
The helmet is VG1-approved.

Inner liner, size & fit
The helmet comes in two base sizes, M and L. You will then also need to purchase a liner, which is sold separately.
KEP offers two different liner models, where you can choose either round or oval fit. Both options come in sizes 51-62, so once you have determined your helmet size, you simply choose the model that best suits your head shape. If you are unsure, we recommend the round fit, as it is the most common. See the size guide to find out how to take your measurements. The inner pad is removable and can be washed as needed, max 30ºC.

A tip is to buy two sets of liners, for example if you want to be able to wash the inner pad more often during summer. Another reason for needing an extra inner pad is if you want to switch between wearing your hair up or down, or wear a hat under the helmet in colder weather. In that case, you can buy a larger liner that provides space for it, and then switch back to the original liner size in warmer conditions.
The same principle applies if you have a growing child – it may be enough to simply buy a new, larger liner as the child grows, instead of having to buy an entirely new helmet.
