  • Information
  • Samshield Miss Shield 2.0 Glossy Crystal Fabric – a high-quality premium riding helmet developed following four years of intensive research and development. The helmet is designed to meet riders’ demands for comfort, fit and safety, while providing optimal airflow and a modern, elegant look.

The helmet is made from premium materials, including polycarbonate, which is commonly used in high-end motorcycle helmets, and features a scratch-resistant surface for added durability. A unique design with new trim allows for the application of up to 300 Swarovski crystals, including in areas where air flows through the helmet, without compromising safety.

An innovative six-point ventilation system ensures maximum airflow. The helmet also features an integrated chin strap designed to accommodate all hairstyles, including the popular trainer bun, as well as memory foam that adapts to the wearer for long-lasting comfort.

The semi-rigid chin strap ensures that the helmet stays securely in place, even during sudden movements, while the inner shell made from polystyrene of varying densities provides effective energy absorption upon impact.

This particular model, the Miss Shield 2.0 Glossy Crystal Fabric, features a wide sun visor and a high-gloss black finish combined with Black Chrome details and exclusive Crystal Fabric.

PLEASE NOTE – the liner is sold separately. See Liner Premium/Oval for Samshield 2.0 and Liner Shadowmatt/Round for Samshield 2.0. Thanks to a new, strong clip system, the liner can easily be removed for washing when needed.

    Liner, size & fit
The helmet is available in four shell sizes: S, M, L and XL. You will also need to purchase a liner, which is sold separately.

Samshield 2.0 offers two different liner models, allowing you to choose between a round or oval shape. Both versions are available in the same numerical sizes, so once you have determined your helmet size, simply choose the model that best suits your head shape. If you are unsure which shape to choose, we recommend the round version, as this is the most common. See the size guide for instructions on how to take your measurements. The inner pad is removable and can be washed as needed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC.

Please note that some sizes overlap. For example, size 56 is available in both S and M. In this case, choose whichever feels most comfortable. If you have a smaller head, for example, S is likely to feel more comfortable. Just make sure to choose a liner with the same size designation (S, M, L or XL) as your shell so that the shell and liner fit together correctly.

    • S – fits sizes S52-S56
    • M – fits sizes M55-M58
    • L – fits sizes L57-L61
    • XL – fits sizes XL61-XL64

The two available liner models are:

    • Premium/Oval
    • Shadowmatt/Round

A useful tip is to purchase two sets of liners, for example if you want to wash the inner pad more frequently during the summer. Another reason to have an extra inner pad is if you want to switch between wearing your hair up and down, or wear a hat under the helmet in colder temperatures. In this case, you can purchase a larger liner that provides the extra space required and then switch back to your original liner size in warmer conditions.

The same principle applies to a growing child. As the child grows, it may be sufficient to purchase a new, larger liner rather than an entirely new helmet.

    Sun visor
The riding helmet features a wide sun visor, also known as a polo visor. This detail not only gives the helmet a stylish look but also helps create optimal conditions for concentration while in the saddle.

The visor helps you keep your eyes open without being distracted or dazzled by the sun. Its slightly deeper design also provides additional protection from rain – ideal if you happen to be out riding when the weather suddenly changes.

Size Guide - How to Choose the Right Helmet Size

Samshield's 2.0 riding helmets come in four basic shell sizes: S, M, L, and XL. Each shell must then be matched with a liner, either Premium/Open or Shadowmatt/Closed. Both variants are available in sizes 52-64, so after determining your helmet size, simply choose the model that fits your head shape. If unsure, we recommend the round/closed shape, as it is the most common.

Note that some sizes overlap, for example, size 56 is available in both S and M. Here, you choose what feels best; if you have a smaller head, S will likely feel more comfortable. Just make sure to choose a liner with the same size attribute (S, M, L, XL) as your shell, so the shell and inner padding fit together properly.

    • S - fits size S52-S56
    • M - fits size M55-M58
    • L - fits size L57-L61
    • XL - fits size XL61-XL64

To determine which size you need, measure the circumference of your head with a soft measuring tape just above your eyebrows and ears. The measurement in centimeters indicates the helmet and liner size you should have, so the size corresponds to the circumference measurement. See the table below.
