The Carrot Ball horse toy from Waldhausen is a pink activity ball that keeps horses occupied and adds variety in the stable or paddock. It can be used to help counteract understimulation, for example during stall rest or recovery periods, and encourages the horse to work to reach the contents.
The ball has a diameter of 18 cm and is made from durable thermoplastic rubber (TPR) with a PU-coated surface for added longevity. Integrated rubber loops can be filled with carrots, apple pieces, horse treats or hay, so the feed or treats are fixed to the ball. A nylon loop on the top makes it easy to hang the ball in the stable or outdoors, and an air pump is included for easy inflation.
