What is MCT?
MCT is short for Medium Chain Triglycerides – medium-chain fatty acids – which are absorbed differently than regular fats. Unlike long-chain fats, MCT oil does not need to be broken down by bile before absorption but is absorbed directly and converted into ketones in the liver. This means it can be used quickly as energy.
Because MCT oil can be absorbed without extra enzymes, the muscles, heart, and brain get an immediate and efficient energy source – perfect when your dog needs extra stamina.
Which dogs is Energy Booster suitable for?
Energy Booster is ideal for active and working dogs that need increased endurance and quick energy replenishment, for example during training, competition, hunting, or other demanding activities.
Dosage
Give about 2 hours before the desired effect. The dosage can be increased if needed and gradually adjusted in the days before. Mix with food. Shake well before use.
- Dogs under 10 kg: 5 ml/day
- Dogs 11–20 kg: 10 ml/day
- Dogs 21–30 kg: 15 ml/day
- Dogs 31–40 kg: 20 ml/day
- Dogs over 40 kg: 25 ml/day
