Harmony Fix is a concentrated probiotic supplement developed for horses with temporary disturbances in the stomach and intestines. The product contains high levels of probiotics in the form of live yeast culture from Saccharomyces cerevisiae, which helps support and restore a balanced intestinal flora.
Probiotics are living microorganisms that, when given in sufficient amounts, can have positive effects on the horse’s stomach and intestinal function. The horse’s digestion depends on a well-functioning intestinal flora where the good and fiber-degrading bacteria play an important role in nutrient absorption and general health.
Imbalance in the intestinal flora can occur, for example, during stress, large amounts of starch in the feed ration, antibiotic treatment or feed changes. When the balance is disturbed, the amount of beneficial bacteria decreases, which can negatively affect the horse’s digestion, nutrient absorption and well-being.
Harmony Fix works to create better balance in the intestinal flora by increasing the amount of good bacteria in the horse’s large intestine. The high concentration of probiotics also contributes to increased fiber degradation in the large intestine, which in turn supports a stable and well-functioning stomach and intestines.
By activating and supporting the good bacteria, Harmony Fix can improve the horse’s ability to digest feed and help the stools return to normal. The product acts as “first aid” for temporary stomach and intestinal problems and is primarily recommended as a course for a limited period.
After completing the course, it may be beneficial to continue with a daily supplement of Harmony or Gut Balance to maintain a stable and well-balanced intestinal flora.
