Rosehip has long been a popular feed supplement for both competition horses and normally active horses, thanks to its natural content of essential nutrients. This coarsely ground rosehip powder contains a rich composition of bioactive compounds such as vitamin C, galactolipids, lycopene, vitamin E, beta-carotene, and flavonoids. The rosehips are gently oven-dried to preserve their nutritional value, resulting in a high-quality product that naturally supports the horse’s immune system and joint health.
Rosehip powder is primarily given to horses with worn or heavily strained joints – which is particularly common in hard-working or older horses.
Back on Track’s rosehip products are made from wild-growing rosehips and originate from Chile. As most of the nutrients are found in the skins, Back on Track’s rosehip products consist of 98% skins to maximize nutritional content.
The product is delivered in a bag, which reduces both plastic use and transport volume – a more sustainable choice for the environment.

Dosage
Soak the powder and mix it with the horse’s regular feed. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Horses & ponies:
- Standard dose (normally active) – 5 g/100 kg
- Intensive training or competition – 10 g/100 kg
Faster results can be achieved by doubling the dose for one month. At a dose of 30g/day (standard dose for a 600kg horse), 900g lasts approximately 30 days.
