Joint ReBuild is a joint supplement developed to support the regeneration of cartilage and promote mobility in horses exposed to high physical stress or showing signs of stiffness. Cartilage in the joint acts as a shock absorber and sliding surface – a healthy joint requires strong and intact cartilage.
With a combination of glucosamine, MSM, and chondroitin sulfate, Joint ReBuild provides the building blocks the body needs to rebuild joint cartilage. Together with manganese and boric acid, these ingredients help maintain healthy joint function and reduce friction in the joint.
Joint ReBuild is especially suitable for older horses or those in rehabilitation, but is equally effective as a preventive supplement for active sport horses.
Cartilage – why is it so important?
Cartilage is the protective layer covering the ends of bones inside the joint. It functions as a natural shock absorber and helps distribute pressure evenly during movement. At the same time, it provides a smooth surface that reduces friction between bones within the joint.
For the joint to function smoothly, the cartilage must remain healthy and intact. As the horse ages or undergoes heavy strain, the body’s own ability to produce the necessary components for cartilage maintenance often decreases. This can lead to an imbalance where breakdown occurs faster than rebuilding – which over time may result in stiffness, reduced mobility, or joint-related problems.
Which horses is Joint ReBuild suitable for?
For horses with joint or musculoskeletal issues. Can be given to both older horses and those in training.
