Trikem's rosehip powder is a natural feed supplement containing vitamin C, antioxidants, minerals and galactolipids. This finely ground whole rosehip powder is made from both shells and seeds, which means that the nutrients from the entire rosehip are preserved.
The Nypon-Rosehip feed supplement consists of dried rosehips ground into a fine powder and is often used as a complement to the horse's daily feed to support joints, mobility and immune system function. Rosehips naturally contain, among other things, vitamin C, antioxidants, amino acids, minerals and trace elements. They also contain galactolipids, substances that studies have shown may contribute to joint health and mobility.
Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation, which is important for the function of cartilage and the bone structure, and also helps protect cells from oxidative stress. Rosehips are also used in human nutrition and have been studied in both humans and animals.
By using the whole rosehip, including the shell, pulp and seeds, a broad content of natural nutrients is preserved. The product contains, among other things, minerals such as iron, calcium, potassium and magnesium as well as antioxidants such as beta-carotene and flavonoids, together with naturally occurring galactolipids.
Thanks to its content of bioactive substances, rosehip is often used to support:

Dosage
Leisure horse:
5 g per 100 kg body weight per day
- Large horse (500 kg): approx. 25 g (37.5 ml)
- Pony (250 kg): approx. 12.5 g (18.75 ml)
Competition horse:
10 g per 100 kg body weight per day.
- Large horse (500 kg): approx. 50 g (75 ml)
- Pony (250 kg): approx. 25 g (37.5 ml)
A double dose is recommended during the first two weeks.
30 ml corresponds to approximately 2 tablespoons.

100% rosehip.
The product contains only finely ground rosehip without added substances. As this is a natural product, variations in colour and appearance may occur between batches. The raw material comes from mountain areas in Chile where the climate conditions are favourable for the rosehip bush. The clean air, clear water and many hours of sunshine contribute to a naturally rich nutrient content. After harvesting, the rosehips are gently dried under controlled conditions before being ground into powder.
