B-vitamin Pellets is a complete supplement containing all 8 B vitamins the horse needs. During changes in training, environment, feeding or shedding periods, the need for vitamin B may increase. Illness, diarrhoea or medication may also reduce the body’s natural production, making supplementation necessary.
B vitamins are water-soluble and play an important role in several bodily processes. They contribute to energy and protein metabolism, the normal function of the nervous system and the formation of red blood cells. As the different B vitamins are active in several processes in the body, a balanced composition is important.
B-vitamin Pellets are suitable for all types of horses and all ages. The product can be used daily or during periods of increased demand, such as intense training, competition, shedding or recovery after illness.
Deficiency of B vitamins may appear as tiredness, reduced appetite and problems with skin and coat.
