Cavallo’s well-known hoof boots are innovative, removable boots designed to provide extra protection for unshod hooves whenever needed. They protect against hard and abrasive surfaces while also providing good grip on slippery ground. Unlike traditional horseshoes, hoof boots can easily be put on and removed as required. They are ideal for barefoot horses ridden over longer distances on hard surfaces or horses with sensitive soles. Hoof boots can also be used for horses with laminitis or other hoof-related issues, as well as a temporary solution if a horse loses a shoe.
Cavallo Trek Hoof Boots are a durable, flexible and well-ventilated model designed to cope with longer rides and more demanding terrain. The green upper is made from high-tech Pro Mesh with a honeycomb structure, combining excellent ventilation with low weight and high durability. The lower section is made from moulded TPU for reliable protection and durability.
This model features the Slim Sole, designed for horses with narrower, more oval-shaped hooves. For horses with wider, rounder hooves, Trek is also available with a Regular Sole.
The boots slip easily over the hoof and fasten with practical hook-and-loop closures that can be replaced when needed. For optimum performance, the boots should fit snugly and follow the shape of the hoof without excessive movement. Sold as a pair.
