The eQuick eVysor Darker is an eye protector for horses developed for use in strong sunlight and intense light conditions. The dark lens combines physical protection for the eyes with a strong reduction of incoming light and UV exposure, while also shielding against wind, dust, dirt, insects and other flying particles.
The dark Darker lens has a light transmission of 10.45% and belongs to filter category 3, which means it lets through significantly less visible light than the eVysor Transparent version and is specifically adapted for very sunny days and environments with strong light. It reduces glare and can therefore contribute to a more comfortable visual environment for horses that spend time or work outdoors in sunny conditions, both during training, competition and for horses that are turned out a lot.
The manufacturer also recommends the eVysor Darker for horses with increased light sensitivity, for example in connection with uveitis, recurrent uveitis (ERU), photosensitivity, headshaking, cataracts or certain eye issues. In case of eye disease, infection or other medical problems, use should always be in consultation with a veterinarian. eVysor Darker is thus a functional eye protector for horses that need reduced light transmission, reduced glare and protection from external influences.
