The eQuick eVysor Mirrored Green is an eye protector for horses in a mirrored green colour, designed for outdoor use in moderate light conditions. The mirrored green lens has a light transmission of 38.41% and belongs to filter category 2, which means it reduces the amount of visible light reaching the eyes and provides effective UV protection. The lens is also designed to reduce glare and improve visual comfort during training, competition and longer periods outside.
The eVysor acts as a physical barrier in front of the horse’s eyes and helps protect against wind, dust, dirt, insects, branches and other flying particles, while the construction is designed to maintain a clear and comfortable field of vision for the horse. This model is particularly suitable on days with moderate sunlight and changing light, when the horse’s eyes need protection from UV radiation and glare without the stronger light reduction of a darker lens.
The manufacturer also recommends the eVysor Mirrored Green as additional protection for horses with increased eye sensitivity, for example in connection with uveitis, cataracts, eye infections or keratitis. In these situations, the eVysor is intended as a complementary physical and light-filtering protection and does not replace veterinary treatment, and use in cases of eye disease, injury or infection should always be in consultation with a veterinarian.
