The Acavallo Arena Aluplus 2.0 Crystals are patented safety stirrups that combine function and comfort with an elegant look, featuring Swarovski crystals on the opening outer arm. The stirrups are made from high-quality, certified anodised aluminium and have a durable stainless steel footplate. The outer aluminium arm can open to facilitate the release of the foot in the event of a fall.
The locking and release mechanism is positioned one centimetre above the 12.5 cm wide footplate to help prevent the foot from unintentionally sliding out to the side. Placing the safety mechanism in the upper part also helps reduce the impact of sand and dirt on the opening function. The footplate has long horizontal openings that counteract the build-up of sand and dirt and provide secure grip in different riding conditions, while a 5° incline promotes correct foot position and helps reduce strain on the rider’s joints.
The Acavallo Arena Aluplus 2.0 Crystals weigh 904 g per pair and have a maximum load of 150 kg, with a maximum opening of 105 mm in the safety arm.
