The Acavallo Flexia are ergonomic stirrups designed to follow the rider’s foot and provide comfort, balance and a supple feel in the saddle. The elliptically shaped footbed offers ergonomic support for the sole of the foot and a secure grip against the riding boot.
The stirrups are equipped with Acavallo’s Flex System, a flexible mechanism that allows the footbed to move forwards and backwards along the horizontal axis, continuously following the position of the foot and the rider’s weight shifts. The system helps absorb and distribute the horse’s movements, which can reduce strain on the rider’s knees, pelvis and ankles. When jumping, the flexibility supports both take-off and landing as well as changes in the rider’s balance.
The footbed has a maximum tilt of 11° forwards and 14° backwards and a width of 12.5 cm. For additional grip in conditions such as rain and mud, the footbed can be fitted with stainless steel studs. One pair of Flexia weighs 500 g and has a maximum load capacity of 500 kg.
