  • Information
  • Inner pad for the KEP Cromo 2.0 helmet. An inner pad is included with all KEP helmets sold by us - this inner pad is sold separately to those who need to replace their old pad, want to change the pad size, or need an extra one for more frequent summer washing.

Another example of why you might need an extra inner pad is if you want to switch between tied-up and loose hair or wear a hat under the helmet in colder temperatures. In that case, you can purchase a larger liner that accommodates these needs and then switch back to the original liner size in warmer conditions.

The same principle applies if you have a growing child; you can simply buy a new, larger liner as your child grows instead of needing to buy an entirely new helmet.

The liner is made of high-quality material that, in addition to optimal breathability for maximum comfort, is environmentally friendly and gentle against the skin.

    Size & Fit
Measure the circumference of your head, just above the ears and eyebrows. The measurement in cm corresponds to the size you should choose for your liner.

KEP Cromo 2.0 comes with shells in two different sizes.

    • If you choose a helmet size of 51-58 cm, you will receive a size M shell.
    • If you choose a helmet size of 59-62 cm, you will receive a size L shell.

Each helmet comes with a liner in the helmet size you have selected.

This means that if, for example, you have a size 56 helmet but need to adjust it to a slightly larger or smaller size, you can easily purchase a new liner in size 55 or 57 and use it in your existing shell.

However, if you have a size 58, which is the largest size for the M shell, you cannot purchase a size 59 liner and use it in the M shell, as it is designed for the L shell.

KEP helmets also come in both round and oval options, so you can customize the fit to your head shape optimally. Most people in Sweden choose a round inner lining for their helmet, as it usually fits best on our heads. If you're unsure, it's safest to choose a round inner lining. If, by any chance, it doesn't fit, we will assist you in switching to an oval one - completely free of charge.

    Size Guide
Riding helmets come in standard sizes, meaning the helmet size corresponds to the size of your head. To determine your size, simply measure the circumference of your head using a soft tape measure, just above your eyebrows and ears. The measurement in centimeters is the helmet size you should choose. For example, if your head measures 59 cm in circumference, you should select size 59 for your helmet. If you want to wear a hat or have your hair up under the helmet, you should add an additional 1 cm to the measurement.

Riding helmets also come in both round and oval options, allowing you to customize the fit according to the shape of your head for optimal comfort. Most people in Sweden prefer the round inner lining in their helmets as it usually fits best on our heads. If you are unsure, it's safest to choose a round inner lining. If, for any reason, it doesn't fit, we'll assist you in exchanging it for an oval one at no extra cost.
