Most people have probably noticed Buzz Off Zebra blankets and various copies in the past few years in the pastures and wondered if it actually serves any purpose. Bucas launched the first model back in 2013 after careful studies that clearly showed that flies stay away from the zebra pattern as it is confusing to them. In one of the tests, they briefly examined how many flies were attracted to a black, brown, white, and zebra-colored horse. The black one attracted 562 flies, the brown one 334, the white one 22, and the zebra-colored one only 8!
