The Acavallo Arena Aluplus 2.0 are patented safety stirrups that combine a robust construction in high-quality, certified anodised aluminium with a carefully designed safety mechanism and ergonomic footbed. The footbed is made of stainless steel for high durability and resistance to corrosion, measures 12.5 cm in width and has a 5° incline to support correct foot position and reduce strain on knees, pelvis and ankles.
The outer aluminium arm can open to help release the foot in the event of a fall. The locking and release mechanism is positioned one centimetre above the footbed to help prevent the foot from unintentionally sliding out sideways, while the safety mechanism itself is placed in the upper part of the stirrup to reduce the risk of sand and dirt delaying the opening. The footbed features long horizontal openings that counteract the build-up of sand and dirt and contribute to secure grip in different riding conditions.
The Acavallo Arena Aluplus 2.0 weigh 904 g per pair and have a maximum load capacity of 150 kg. The maximum opening is 105 mm.
