The Acavallo Rel-X Easy are lightweight safety stirrups with an innovative, flexible side opening designed to help release the rider’s foot in all directions in the event of a fall or strong pressure from the foot. The strategically positioned locking and release mechanism is also designed to reduce the risk of unintentional opening.
The stirrups are made from high-tech metal and flexible polymers, resulting in increased comfort and reduced stiffness compared to traditional stirrups. The replaceable outer arm is stiffer at the base to provide extra stability and a secure position for the foot. The footbed features Acavallo’s Grip System and horizontal openings for reliable grip in different conditions, and has a 5° incline to promote a correct and comfortable foot position. Rel-X Easy includes aluminium details with a shot-blasted finish and stainless steel components for high durability.
Each stirrup weighs 418 g, the footbed width is 12.5 cm and the maximum load is 150 kg. The side opening can open up to 105 mm.
