With Samshield's configurator, you can customize a new helmet with a design that suits your taste and style!
Samshield helmets come in two different variants, and when designing your own, you can choose whether you want your helmet to have a regular cut or a "Dressage Bun Cutout." Dressage Bun Cutout means that the helmet ends a bit higher at the back of the neck, see image, leaving plenty of space for various hair arrangements and hairnets.
When you place an order, an amount corresponding to the simplest available design is reserved, and this amount is the price shown just above "Add to Cart." The final price, which you will eventually pay, depends on the choices you make in the configurator.
Payment is only processed when we deliver the helmet to you.
Here's what you do:
- Click on Configurator»
- Design your helmet
- Take a screenshot of the configurator so that we can clearly see the helmet and the panel where you made your choices. Save the image.
- Return to this product page, add the product to the cart, and complete the purchase in the checkout. You will then receive an order number via email.
- Send the image to support@equinest.com and provide your order number, whether you want a regular or dressage cut helmet, and your helmet size (52-61, round or oval).
What happens next?
We will contact Samshield and then come back to you with an exact price and request your approval. After you have approved the cost proposal, the order will be activated, and the correct amount will be adjusted on your order.
The cost proposal is valid for 14 days. The order is not binding until you have approved the cost proposal.
Once you have approved the cost proposal, we will place the order with Samshield, and your helmet will start production. When the helmet is ready, Samshield will send it to us, and as soon as we receive it, we will ship it directly to you!
Will the price differ from the configurator's?
The price listed in the configurator is in Euro currency and does not include an inner pad. The price we provide has been calculated according to the current exchange rate and includes an inner pad.
The price information you receive is directly from Samshield; Equinest does not add anything beyond that.
Delivery Time?
Delivery time varies and is normally within the range of 4-10 weeks.
Returns and Cancellations?
Since a custom-designed riding helmet is made exclusively for you and according to your specifications, there is no open purchase.
Advice, finding the right helmet size
Samshield, like KEP, uses size intervals S-M-L on the shells. In addition, you choose the size of an inner pad that fits one of these three size intervals. If you order a helmet that doesn't fit, it usually suffices to change the inner pad and not the entire helmet itself. This significantly reduces the risk of receiving a helmet that doesn't fit. If you want to try a different inner pad, please contact us with the size you want to try.
Inner pads are available in sizes 52-61
Shells are available in sizes Small, Medium, Large
Inner pad 52-56 fits the Small shell
Inner pad 55-58 fits the Medium shell
Inner pad 57-61 fits the Large shell
The inner pads are available in oval and round shapes to fit different head types. If you are unsure which one to choose, we recommend starting with the round shape.
